Fall Session: Intro to Screenwriting

What comes after a great summer screenwriting session? A super duper one for the fall! There's nothing like honing in on a great project with the change of the seasons. Screenwriters Ink's Fall Session begins Saturday, Sept. 8, 10:30-Noon at Books Ink Bookstore. This class is designed to teach core writing strategies for writing a first draft. Newcomers to screenwriting usually have great ideas and this class helps students to organize their ideas through the complex screenwriting format. Learn screenwriting structure, character development, dialogue and more. This class session is taught by award winning writer and filmmaker Ytasha L. Womack. Intro to Screenwriting Class Begins Sat., July 21

Do you have a movie idea and don't know where to begin? Read all the books but still

don't get the format?  Screenwriters Ink's popular Intro to Screenwriting Class teaches the basics in screenwriting. Learn how to flesh out those story ideas into a full fledged screenplay.

This class teaches story development, dialogue, structure and theme.  Get started on

that first draft and get your screenplay out on the market. While the class is geared for

beginners, this fun-filled experience is an excellent refresher for more experienced writers, too. 

The class is taught by author and filmmaker Ytasha L. Womack.
